I think that should be fine. download_clone.sh will use this directory
as a prefix only and download the file contents of
http://dev.overpass-api.de/api_drolbr/trigger_clone . This happens to be
the directory name I mentioned before: http://dev.overpass-api.de/clone/

Did you try the download_clone.sh script already?
