Hi all,
I'm running a privateĀ overpass server for years now (it's still 7.53).
Starting January 14, the apply.log is full of messages of this kind:
Block_Backend: an item's size exceeds block size
Reading XML file ... finished reading relations. Flushing to database
...File error caught: 0 Success /home1/opt/overpass/db/relations.bin
Block_Backend: an item's size exceeds block size.
Reading XML file ... finished reading nodes. Flushing to database ......
done.
This continues endlessly. The newest replication id is from January 14.
So apparently he does not manage to overcome this problem.
I suppose the reason is someĀ extraordinarily big data structure in the
diffs.
(In the meantime I found that on 14.1. there was some huge multipolygone
relation that caused problems not only here)
Is this a problem that could be overcome with a newer version of overpass?
Is there any way to proceed with the current installation?
Is there any upgrade path apart from throwing away everything and
installing from scratch with a fresh planet?
Thx for hints!
